City Chic has some really trendy, fashionable styles. I feel like pieces I find on City Chic are different than any I find elsewhere. I recommend City Chic for appearance wardrobe, headshot wardrobe, and interview outfits. Full transparency- I don’t think there is many interview styles that would work well at systems like NAM. Their styles tend to be a little more sultry. However, City Chic is definitely somewhere you should check out regardless of the system.

BooHoo is a great option for plus-size interview as well as appearance pieces! They are probably the most affordable option on this list so bonus points for that. However, you get what you pay for so keep this in mind when ordering.
Sydney’s closet. They do it best. They are really the only exclusively plus size brand and one that actually understands curvy women. Their styles are made to fit curvy bodies. It provides coverage where we want it while also making sure we don’t feel hidden. I love Sydney’s Closet and have only ever worn their styles in gown. They always make me feel ready for the stage. When she misses… she misses. But when she hits? SHE HITS. Ashley Stewart has those plus size styles we all know and hate. BUT my winning Interview dress was from there so she deserves a mention. First glance you may feel discouraged. However, keep digging and you’ll find hidden gems like this one!
I thought KissProm was a scam until another pageant girl recommended them to me. I can’t show you the pieces I have ordered from there until after Nationals but OMG. So so good!! Quality, fit, everything. It checks the boxes. My issue is my bust is 2-3 sizes bigger than my waist/hips and I am a short girl. They will customize a dress to your measurements for $20 which is wayyy cheaper than the alterations I would be paying for. Live, laugh, love Kiss Prom. They get the ultimate SM stamp of approval.
